Review the Design Brief
This project started with a posting for a design brief for a logo re-design that was focused on updating the original logo for the SFU Tabletop Club.
When I first came across the poster, I was excited by the opportunity it presented. The SFU Tabletop Club’s previous logo needed a refresh. As an active member of the club, I already had a strong understanding of its identity and values, which gave me a clear direction for what the new logo should communicate.
Editing and Review
After being selected as the logo designer, I went through several rounds of review and revision to ensure the final design aligned with the club executives' vision. Throughout this process, I adapted my original concept to meet their needs, incorporating changes ranging from major structural adjustments to refinements in color, line weight, and curvature.
This phase was all about precision—ensuring every detail matched the client’s expectations. It demanded a sharp eye for detail and thoughtful decision-making, qualities I bring to every design project I take on.

Full re-branding
Inspired by my logo design, I was asked to work on a full re-brand, creating posters, stickers, and other merchandise for club activities
Working with the executive team, I designed posters, letterheads and other professional materials.
This was all done while working directly with the Tabletop Executive team
Similar to what I would do if working with any other clients

Reflection
Working with the tabletop club helped me improve my skills in communicating with clients we had to go back and forth in order to ensure they were satisfied with the final product, along with that, I still have an open channel of communication such that they can ask me for any new designs they need.
I was also able to improve my skills in logo design, Illustrator as well as branding.
